Friday Morning Yin Yoga (£10/class or £30/4 classes).

Yin yoga is a slow and meditative style of yoga that focuses on gently staying in passive poses for extended periods, typically 3-5 minutes. As we surrender into the shapes with our body, we affect the connective web of fascia which helps us move into a deeply relaxed state. In this state we are able to tune into what the body is holding and soften deeply held tension.This practice promotes flexibility, joint health, and emotional release, while also encouraging mindfulness, somatic awareness and nervous system regulation. The long-held postures allow for deep stretching and can help improve blood and qi (life force energy) circulation, increase range of motion, and reduce stress. It’s especially beneficial for those seeking a calm, restorative practice that complements more active forms of exercise and helps elliviate the symptomos of chronic stress. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners. Rebecca offers hands on adjustments if appropriate. Please let her know if you would prefer not to be touched.
