Tuesday Evening Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slower-paced style of yoga that focuses on holding passive poses for extended periods, typically 3-5 minutes. Unlike more dynamic practices, it targets the deeper connective tissues like ligaments, joints, and fascia, rather than just the muscles. This practice promotes flexibility, joint health, and emotional release, while also encouraging mindfulness and relaxation. The long-held postures allow for deep stretching and can help improve circulation, increase range of motion, and reduce stress. It’s especially beneficial for those seeking a calm, restorative practice that complements more active forms of exercise. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners.
